Christina Aguilera To Launch New Las Vegas Residency At The Venetian

Renowned pop sensation Christina Aguilera, often referred to as Xtina, is poised to make a triumphant return to the glittering city of Las Vegas. She has inked a lucrative multi-million dollar residency deal set to unfold at the brand-new Voltaire nightclub, nestled within The Venetian on the iconic Las Vegas Strip. An official announcement detailing an initial series of 20 performance dates extending into the spring of 2024 is expected imminently.

Christina’s inaugural run at Voltaire is projected to yield several million dollars, marking a spectacular start to her residency. This highly anticipated stint is slated to kick off in late December, possibly culminating with a spectacular New Year’s Eve extravaganza.

Behind closed doors, Christina has been discreetly collaborating with the Voltaire team for months, laboring tirelessly to craft a one-of-a-kind spectacle evoking the charm of bygone cabaret eras. Currently immersed in rehearsals in Los Angeles, she is striving to create what she envisions as her “most intimate show ever” at this intimate venue, capable of accommodating approximately 1,000 captivated audience members.

“She loves the concept of fans being very close to her on stage in a compact classy venue,” said a Las Vegas source. “She has been planning the show and rehearsing to deliver a set of her biggest hits in a unique way, offering audiences a feeling of being with her inside a private setting rather than a venue. These shows will go back to showcasing just what a tremendous vocalist she is.”

The performer’s run at Voltaire is likely to coincide with the 25th anniversary of her debut single Genie in a Bottle, which was number one in 21 countries upon release in May 1999. It topped the Billboard Hot 100 and sold more than 2 million copies in the U.S. alone. Christina remains one of the best-selling music artists ever thanks to estimated sales of over 100 million records sold worldwide.

“She has been plotting the stage experience with the Venetian’s creative team for the last year,” said an insider. “There is a lot of excitement because Christina is a huge star with a large fan base and a terrific voice. These shows will be a more sensuous, intimate experience with Christina and her band staring in the eyes of their audience up close and personal.”
